Course Description

This special 5-day training program, specifically for those who want to appear for CISA 2019 examination in near future, provides an intense environment in which participants can acquire, thoroughly and properly, the skills and knowledge expected of a world-class information systems audit, control and security professional. This  course is structured to follow the CISA 2019 content areas and provide students with simulated examination practice. The course covers each of the core competencies and associated tasks and knowledge statements, thereby ensuring a detailed and thorough coverage of all areas that will be tested. In the process the course provides outstanding preparation for the CISA 2019 exam. The fundamental thrust of examination is on understanding the concepts, not on memorizing facts. 2. To provide candidates with a clear understanding of the CISA 2019 examination and certification processes.

3. To maximize your prospects at the CISA 2019 exam if you choose to sit it.

What will you learn?

The  course materials are based on the CISA® 2019 job practice as defined by ISACA . A job practice serves as the basis for the exam and the experience requirements to earn the certification. This job practice

consists of task and knowledge statements, organized by domains. The latest job practice analysis performed by ISACA reflects the vital and evolving responsibilities of IT Auditors. This job practice is effective as of 25th May 2019.

What this course:

1. This course will not provide you ready material like checklists, audit methods, audit test procedures etc. After this course and passing of exam, you have to prepare your own material

2. Just by attending this course you may not be able to pass CISA 2019 exam. You have to study and take efforts as will be guided by the course faculty during the course. But chances of passing will definitely be more if you attend this course.

3. You may not be able to officially work as a Systems Auditor in your company without passing CISA 2019 exam and taking CISA 2019 certificate. It depends on the organization where you are employed, to designate you as a Systems Auditor. For independent practice as a Systems Auditor, you definitely require to pass CISA 2019 exam and get the CISA 2019 practicing certificate.

The Job Practice domains and task and knowledge statements are as follows:

Domain 1 - The Process of Auditing Information Systems (21%)

Provide audit services in accordance with IT audit standards to assist the organization in protecting and controlling information systems.

Domain 2 - Governance and Management of IT (17%)

Provide assurance that the necessary leadership and organization structure and processes are in place to achieve objectives and to support the organization’s strategy.

Domain 3 - Information Systems Acquisition, Development, and Implementation (12%)

Provide assurance that the practices for the acquisition, development, testing, and implementation of information systems meet the organization’s strategies and objectives.

Domain 4 - Information Systems Operations, Maintenance and Support (23%)

Provide assurance that the processes for information systems operations, maintenance and support meet the organization’s strategies and objectives.

Domain 5 - Protection of Information Assets (27%)

Provide assurance that the organization’s security policies, standards, procedures and controls ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.
